Planeta Sustentable (PS) is a non-profit civil association established in Mexico City that forms part of a global movement to advance a new lifestyle in which to develop a human demand for a responsible and economically fair society, as well as integrated into the environment.

We do this because we consider that:

In the long run, human life is in risk due to the increasing unhealthiness and unbalance of life systems, and land and forests degradation.

Current socio-economic structures maintain people in poverty, even living in areas rich on natural resources.

It’s necessary to become aware of the impact of our lifestyle.

We carry out our mission in Mexico through our website PlanetaSustentable.org combined with local programmes.

We think that we are able to plant in children a conscience of a fair and responsible society and that young people will have the greater impact on the environment as well as on the socio-economic spheres of the future.

PS is funded by individuals committed with spreading the concept of sustainability and believe in our philosophy. PS is also funded by sponsors committed to sustainability and by the local events we organize,
